Vibhasana Yoga Festival

This year Almaden Yoga brings to you Vibhasana Yoga Festival - 2012 with a twist. We are getting local teachers, local musicians, and local vendors and making this festival as organic as we can. This festival is one of its kind to attract local yogis in the Bay area and around to share their love for yoga.

Vibhasana Yoga Festival is a complete fund raiser helping underprivileged children in India, east Africa and the US. Vibha volunteers work tirelessly in India to improve education for children who are deprived of their basic needs. Africa Yoga Project has used yoga as a way to lift the lives of children in east Africa.

We have the fortune of some amazing teachers from the Bay area. We have Ashleigh Sergeant and Siri Peterson coming from Tahoe to be part of this festival. These teachers and local musicians have donated their time and energy for a cause that allows them to take their own yogic practice beyond their mat and make a difference in the lives of many children across the world.

I hope you will be able to participate not only to share yoga with another yogi but also spread your joy and passion to lift the lives of children.

Let us all come together to create this beautiful bay area yogic community at the Vibhasana Yoga Festival – 2012.
