Leah

As a yoga instructor I have learned more about who I am. Now I am giving back to my community. I am teaching girls in my community how to become confident and know themselves. I also have a passion for teaching women that are former or current sex workers and need to find a healthy relationship with their bodies.

Without my yoga practice I would be doing acrobatics but my life would have been out of control and I wouldn’t be able to support myself. I am a good role model to young mothers. They see me and they want to feel the same way, responsible and healthy.

Yoga has given me the opportunity to see the world in a new way. Now I see us as one; it does not matter what race, class, or country you are from, we all give and receive.
