For me, yoga has made me a better person, now I am courageous and proud of myself. I am a better person in general. Everybody should practice yoga to relax their minds and their bodies. It also teaches you to be proud of yourself. Yoga has inspired me to help the children and spread the message of what I get from my own practice. I am also inspired to help my community.

As a yoga instructor I have learned more about who I am. Now I am authentic and I am not shy. I am proud of myself. My students have lots of challenges in life, like not enough money to go to school, no clothes, and not enough food, but they keep coming to yoga because they like the teachings and they love yoga. When people see me I want them to see the real me and to see who I am. The breath of yoga has helped me remove the bad thoughts from my mind and reach out to my community.

Yoga makes me feel empowered to change the lives of children and to lead the change. The slums are tough and unsafe, but by bringing in yoga we have brought in peace, power, and relaxation. Yoga has given me the opportunity to see the world in a new way. Now I see who I am and that we are all equal.
