Faith

Everybody should practice yoga because it is a physical practice which connects your body, mind and soul to the ground. I can really see a change in my students. Since starting yoga they have become generous, energetic and united.

My students have l ots of challenges in life, like poverty, but they keep coming to yoga because they feel free of their burdens when practicing.

As a yoga instructorI have learned more about who I am. Now I am audible and courageous. I can stand in front of a group of people and speak loudly and powerfullly. Yoga has generated in me a new sense of humanity and belonging to a community of my own.

In 1 year I see myself working with a gang movement that has terrorized Kenya. I want to reach these people and teach them yoga and bring them together.
